Bio

Chad’s family is originally from Biggar, SK where they farmed for the greater part of 4 generations. His great, great grandfather emigrated from Scotland.

Politics has been part of the Crozier family’s fabric since stepping foot on Saskatchewan soil, with each generation passionately working for what they believe was their vision for Saskatchewan and Canada from CCF, NDP, Conservative, Alliance and his dad was approached to run Reform.

Chad and his family became a part of the Martensville community in 2002 and he graduated there in 2008.

He played AAA Midget and Junior A hockey and currently plays Junior B with his younger brother with the Saskatoon Westleys.

During the summer months he manages the Grey Owl Center in Waskesiu, which is family owned and operated. The Grey Owl Center rents out: The Little Deuce Coupe quadracycle (patented design and manufactured by Chad’s family, see at www.quadracycle.com), bicycles, guiding service, gym and alternative movies. The business is operated out of a log heritage building which the interior of was renovated with mostly recycled materials. www.greyowlcenter.com

The Grey Owl Center generates very little waste as it recycles all of its tires, metal, plastic, paper and compost. The Grey Owl Center has received a certificate of recognition from Parks Canada for its efforts.

This summer the Grey Owl Center’s business and services were recognized in both the Globe and Mail and Prince Albert Herald.

This spring Chad was contracted by the Prince Albert Health Region to lead the Bicycle Restore Program which distributes refurbished bicycles to those in need at no cost.

He enjoys pulling discarded bicycles out of the trash, which he then refurbishes and often gives away.

In the Spring of 2010 Chad and a friend cycled from Vancouver to Saskatoon; tenting along the way, which was a great experience that brought him even closer to nature.

Last winter Chad spent nearly 2 months snowboarding the Selkirk Mountains in British Columbia.

Enjoys skateboarding, bicycling, wake boarding, snowboarding, canoeing, unicycling, and you will occasionally catch Chad walking on his hands.

Currently exploring Yoga which is of great interest to him.

This current off season Chad is helping his dad bring a 1950s bungalow up to Energuide efficient standards.

Enjoys reading very much. Currently reading: Nature by Ralph Waldo Emerson and The Heart of The Soul by Gary Zukav.

Chad feels it is more important than ever to have a strong voice in Saskatchewan to stand up for Mother Earth, especially because of the expected land slide victory of the Saskatchewan Party.

Believes we need to find a balance between economy and ecology.

Strongly believes in a New Age Economy based on green technologies and serving others instead of doing what just serves the individual.

Chad, wants to focus his campaign on meeting with as many groups as possible. If you would like to get a group together over coffee, email a tentative location, date and time he will do his best to accommodate. Afternoon and evenings would work best.

Chad looks forward to meeting you as soon possible.
