I’m a retired high school teacher turned organic farmer. My wife and I have two sons and four grandchildren.
I enjoy playing music, skiing, snowshoeing, cycling, canoing, etc.
I like winter when I work in the forest and make wood projects in our shop.
I was a board member for the Sask. Farm Woodlot Association for many years. I was on the local Credit Union board for several years. I have served as a teacher staff rep.
I have a couple of serious concerns for my province. One is that we could be killing ourselves with industrial agriculture practices of today. Included in that is what we are doing to our food and the diet of the children of this province, thus increasing health care costs.
The other is the fear of moving ahead with nuclear energy by the other two parties. No one ever asked the people of Sask. if we even want to continue mining uranium. It is far too dangerous and costly. Our uranium is probably found in nuclear weapons around the world. Very sad.
There is only one way to vote, with your heart.
